Blake Bentley, CEO

Blake Bentley - CEO, has been with the practice since it started in 1995. He has been with SportsMED through its tremendous growth into one of Alabama's largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic practices. He holds a degree in MIS from Auburn University and has over 12 years experience in the management of healthcare resources.

Dawn Shurden, CFO

Dawn Shurden - CFO, has been with the practice since 2001. She provides financial and human resource service support for SportsMED’s five locations and more than 150 staff members. She received her BA from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Science in Management from the University of Alabama and was awarded CPA status in 1994. She has more than 24 years experience in medical administration.
