Tara Vardaman, RDN, LDregistered-dietitian-sportsmed

Tara Vardaman is a Registered Dietitian here at SportsMED Orthopaedic Surgery & Spine Center. Tara earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition, and a minor in Psychology, from The University of Alabama. Tara is currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition with a focus in Clinical Nutrition.

Tara has a passion for helping people live the healthiest lives they can. Her experiences working with patients have taught her that adopting a healthy lifestyle can open opportunities for a better overall quality of life. Tara’s philosophy of nutrition counseling is centered on helping you determine where you are on the path to being a healthier you in order to identify your goals and develop a plan to help you reach your goals and live your life to the fullest.Tara is here to provide personal and individualized nutrition plans for:

  • Weight Loss
  • General Wellness
  • Athletes
  • Prevention and Nutritional Treatment of Diseases

Tara will be there every step of the way in your journey and she is dedicated to being someone you can rely on to help you reach your goals. Tara looks forward to meeting you and working with you throughout your journey to help you achieve the healthy lifestyle you desire and an improved quality of life.

Dietitian Appointments and pricing:

15 minutes - $25.00 ($18.00 for Fitness Center Members)
30 minutes - $45.00 ($36.00 for Fitness Center Members)
1 hour - $90.00 ($72.00 for Fitness Center Members)

All initial appointments will be 1 hour. Appointments are available 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
