Victor Chin, M.D.
Dr. Chin is an anesthesiologist who is fellowship-trained in pain medicine. After completing an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Chin received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2004. Dr. Chin served as an intern in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center - University of Maryland before completing his residency in anesthesiology at Harvard University - Massachusetts General Hospital in 2008. As an anesthesiology resident, he was awarded the MGH Donald P. Todd Award for excellence in pain medicine. In 2009, Dr. Chin completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Chin specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of painful spine conditions, as well as acute and chronic pain disorders. He provides comprehensive pain management solutions including conservative medication management and interventional procedures. He strives to help patients find alternatives to opioids for the treatment of chronic pain.
Dr. Chin also has a special interest in Workers’ Compensation cases, and serves as a Medical Director for Paradigm Outcomes. He is involved in helping injured workers throughout the nation with chronic pain.
Dr. Chin is a native of Auburn, AL, and is relocating to Huntsville after practicing in Rome, GA for the last 10 years. He is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
