Pain Management

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 20% of adults suffer from chronic pain. Chronic pain can restrict a person’s mobility and daily activities, resulting in anxiety or depression and a reduced quality of life. The pain management physicians at SportsMED specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of painful spine conditions, as well as acute and chronic pain disorders.

Our team of pain medicine specialists have received advanced training in physical medicine and rehabilitation and anesthesiology, and focus their skills on non-surgical treatment options to help reduce pain, restore function and improve mobility. Our physicians are experienced in a variety of treatment and diagnostic procedures, including: medication management, joint injection therapies, EMGs (electromyography), NCS (nerve conduction studies), implantable pain management devices, platelet rich plasma injections, rehabilitative therapies, and more. If your quality of life is being affected by chronic pain, SportsMED can help.
