Randall Tindell, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, knee and shoulder injuries, and arthroscopy. Dr. Tindell sees patients in need of general orthopedic care, sports medicine, and joint replacements at SportsMED Orthopedic Surgery & Spine Center in Madison and Huntsville, Alabama. He educates men and women on caring for hip, hand, shoulder, and knee injuries, and provides treatment options.
Dr. Tindell earned his bachelor's degree and doctorate at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee, before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at Campbell Clinic, also in Memphis. With nearly three decades of experience in orthopedics, Dr. Tindell started his career with specialized orthopedic surgery training with Dr. Rocco A. Calandruccio at the Campbell Clinic in 1987.
Dr. Tindell is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and currently serves as the team physician for several local high schools. He maintains active memberships with numerous professional affiliations and serves on the board for United Cerebral Palsy.
