Robert F. Ocampo, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist treating patients at the Athens, Madison, and Huntsville, Alabama, locations of SportsMED Orthopedic Surgery & Spine Center. Dr. Ocamp specializes in the treatment of bunions, calluses, and hammertoes, and has a special interest in reconstructive forefoot surgeries and treatment for heel pain.
Dr. Ocampo earned his undergraduate degree at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, majoring in biological sciences. He then completed his doctorate at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, where he was on the Dean’s List from 1990 to 1994. After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Ocampo completed a podiatric surgical residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center and Tustin Hospital Medical Center in Tustin, California.
Dr. Ocampo is a fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also on the medical staff at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, The Surgery Center of Huntsville, Parkway Medical Center Hospital in Decatur, and the Decatur Ambulatory Surgery Center.
